May 4, 2018 – Keeping Up To Date on CSA Standards

Spring into Action and check out these new OHS Standards!

New OHS standards in the “suite of standards” under CSA Z1000:Incident Investigation (CSA Z1005) and Emergency and Continuity Management (CSA Z1600).

Presented by Corporate Health Works, Norma McCormick:President

What is being presented?

There are two new CSA OHS standards which will be of interest to IPAM members. The first edition of CSA Z1005 – 17 Incident Investigation, which sets out prevention principles and requirements to determine causes and to prevent work-related incidents.

The second standard is the third edition of CSA Z1600, Emergency and continuity management program.

Why should you attend?

  1. Broad acceptance and implementation of CSA’s OHS standards leads to the effective identification and elimination of workplace hazards, the assessment and control of risks, improved regulatory compliance and demonstration of due diligence.
  2. Continual improvement of OHS programs and procedures leading to reductions in the frequency and severity of incidents and the associated financial and human costs.
  3. CSA Z1000 and the suite of health and safety standards represent a unique and valuable approach to managing various aspects of a comprehensive program, necessary to meet the regulatory requirements.
