The bombing at the Boston Marathon caused organizers of all large public events to re-evaluate their safety and disaster management arrangements.
Ron Mark, the Executive Director of the Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade and President of Ready Event Management, will take you through the process of developing enhanced communications, safety and disaster management plans for the Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade.

Energetic and engaging, Ron Mark started READY Event Management in 2006. The introduction of the highly successful Manitoba Christmas Craft Sale began his career in event management in 1980. Since then, Ron Mark has owned, managed and/or produced events, conferences and trade shows, from the enormous and intricate, to the smaller and more innovative. Ron Mark has been the Executive Director of the extremely popular Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade since 2009.
