This May 22, 2015 join your IPAM colleagues for a breakfast session will discuss Ethics in Safety Management and how to succeed in “Doing the Right Thing” and what to do if this objective can’t be achieved.

Widely recognized as a leader and expert in both business and Safety Management Systems, Theo is passionate about having an impact on sending workers home to their families safe and healthy at the end of every work day and protecting organizations from avoidable loss and liability.
Theo has over 20 years’ experience as a business owner and entrepreneur. She is also an award winning sales and marketing professional with more than 15 years of experience. Theo also has over 15 years of safety management related experience, working both locally and internationally as a consultant and trainer.

Ethics in Safety Management or “Doing the Right Thing” is about valuing human life over all other desired outcomes. But what’s a Safety Professional to do when an organization says they “value safety’ but doesn’t “walk their talk”? Organizational culture, pressure and misdirection from management is an all too common experience of many safety professionals.
