IPAM Monthly Meeting – September 20, 2013

Join your IPAM colleagues on Friday, September 20, 2013. This breakfast meeting will be presented by Marco Rosales.

The Canadian Museum For Human Rights

The purpose of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is to explore the subject of human rights, with special but not exclusive reference to Canada, in order to enhance the public’s understanding of human rights, to promote respect for others and to encourage reflection and dialogue (Museums Act).

The CMHR is Canada’s fifth National Museum and the first national museum to be located outside Ottawa. It will also be the first technology based museum in Canada.

Currently most of the base building work is completed and work has commenced in the interior fit up; the CMHR is scheduled to open to the public in 2014.
