WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH – UPDATE
The session will consist of a review of 2024/2025 statistics focusing on inspections, strategic inspection projects and serious incidents.
The session will also cover Bill 29; changes to the WSH act
Presenter:
A civil servant for over 20 years, experienced in working in a regulatory enforcement environment for numerous departments for the Province of Manitoba
Learning Outcomes:
- Current changes to the WSH act
- Understand WSH method on determining the scope of inspection to be completed in the new year
Who should attend:
Any person who is involved in a safety position and that their industry falls under the jurisdiction of the Province of Manitoba

7:30-8:00 am - Annual General meeting
8:00-9:00 am - Session

FEES:
IPAM Members - No Charge
Non-Members - $45.00/person
Students - $25.00
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Non-Member Registrations – Cancellations received at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the event date are accepted without charge. If cancellation is not received by the specified time frame the non-member fee of $45.00 is applicable. Substitutions are welcome.
If the non-member joins IPAM within a month of this meeting, the $45 fee will be applied to the cost of membership.
