Psychological Safety
Wednesday, May 13, 2026 | CSAM Office
Psychological injuries in the workplace are on the rise, making psychological safety a critical part of building healthy, productive workplaces in Manitoba.
With recent amendments under Bill 29, employers are now formally required to ensure workplaces are psychologically safe for all workers. These changes align with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Psychological Health and Safety Standard, reinforcing the legal duty to prevent harm to the psychological well-being of workers.
This workshop will explore practical psychological risk and protective factors, and how employers can meet their legal responsibilities through planning, education, evaluation, and continual improvement. The focus will be on real-world application, helping organizations protect not only physical safety, but also mental health.
By working together toward this shared goal, we can build safer, healthier workplaces across Manitoba because people are our most valuable resource.
